Been fairly busy this past year: work, girl, sleep, repeat, has been my day to day. I would absolutely love a vacation.
I love my job. Promoted to the Assistant Manager at our Hideout location working for Scott has been a great pleasure so far. I’m learning daily and trying to exceed expectations.
Thus feeling more comfortable with my new surroundings and income, I will try to get back in the groove and posting and writing. I enjoy it and it makes me happy. Now about the look of the site, It is a modern, minimalistic theme created by Rodrigo Galindez. Beautifully built yet transparent, it was designed with a focus on optimal typography in order to better showcase your content: text, images and video. I’ll be working on a theme to replace it soon, but in the meantime this will suffice.

Learning jQuery

The last couple of months I’ve been immersed into the world of JavaScript implementing jQuery and Ajax; though it was sometimes frustrating, I have thoroughly enjoyed it.
I have most enjoyed jQuery. It’s a lightweight JavaScript library that emphasizes interaction between JavaScript and HTML which simplifies the creation of animations, communications to server requests, document transversing and event handling. To simplify, it is kick-ass.

Would you ever use someone else’s work and claim it to be your own? Hopefully, the answer is no. Now I use other’s work as inspiration but I never blatantly use their work. Only one word comes to mind: Criminal; well delinquent and villain too but you get the point.
