New England Patriots QB Tom Brady fell to injury yesterday during the Pats’ victory over the Kansas City Chiefs in the first quarter of the game when Chiefs S Bernard Pollard fell on Brady’s knee after a pass attempt. Reports have Brady tearing his ACL and could possibly be out for the season.
If you’re a Brady owner, like myself, that probably took him in the first round of your fantasy draft thinking he’d come close to last season’s record-breaking stats, well, you’re probably shit out of luck as this does not appear good. In fact, head coach Bill Belichick, who never reveals anything, has reportedly told his team to prepare to move forward without Brady.

It’s no secret that director Kevin Smith has been having a rough time in getting an R-rating for his new comedy Zack and Miri Make a Porno. Last month star Seth Rogen went on the record and said the MPAA was giving them trouble with some of the sex stuff in the film. Well now it’s not just rumoring, Zack and Miri has been officially hit with the NC-17 kiss of death.

Oklahoma has a possible Heisman Trophy candidate at quarterback, back-to-back Big 12 titles to defend and a top 5 ranking in the preseason for the first time since 2004.
Its defense also has a very bad taste in its mouth.
The fourth-ranked Sooners, coming off a lopsided loss in last year’s Fiesta Bowl, will look to begin to answer some questions defensively when they open their season at home Saturday against Chattanooga.

Danny McBride, who made his leading man film debut in a little-seen 2006 tae-kwon-do flick, is packing a powerful punch in theaters this summer.
“He’s the guy everyone will be talking about. That guy is unstoppable,” says comedian Bill Hader, one of McBride’s co-stars in Tropic Thunder.
The husky funnyman, 31, has earned major notices for his back-to-back performances in this summer’s big-ticket comedies: Pineapple Express, with McBride as the fickle, underhanded but oddly indestructible drug dealer pal of Seth Rogen and James Franco. And Tropic Thunder, in which he blows stuff up—and gets tied up with Nick Nolte, as an accident-prone explosives expert.
“I guess it’s my big summer. I don’t know. I feel like I’ve had more eventful ones when I was a kid,” jokes McBride.
Seriously, though, McBride owes all his recent screen time to The Foot Fist Way, which he co-wrote with two film-school friends and made for about $80,000. They took it all the way to Sundance.
