Taking Stock

What are your web design goals? To become a professional web designer? To make personal web sites only?

My goals are to become a expert in the field of standards-based web design and development. I want to make websites and applications for a living.

Which aspect of web design interest you the most?

I enjoy just about every bit of the process. I look forward in developing my skills.

What current skills do you have that will be useful in creating web pages?

I understand xhtml and css but I’m still a work in progress. Read about PHP. I have used photoshop for several years.

Which skills will you need to brush up on?

I’m here to learn everything there is. I want to brush up on it all.

Which hardware and software tools do you already have for web design?

To be honest I could supply two offices. I have a PC setup and ready with CS4 and dual screens. And being a mac fanboy at heart I have a mac right next to it, though it’s time to upgrade.

Which tools do you need to buy? Which tools would you like to buy eventually?

Next thing I’ll purchase is a bigger hard drive. Sadly, it’s getting to the rim.
