Luckily a neighbor found him but took him to the animal shelter, in which he’ll return tomorrow. But with the love for all 90lbs of Labrador it will be hard to punish such a great dog.

I love you, dummy; you’ve got to learn.

<img src="/images/jquery.jpg" alt="" /.
The last couple of months I've been immersed into the world of JavaScript implementing jQuery and Ajax; though it was sometimes frustrating, I have thoroughly enjoyed it.

I have most enjoyed jQuery. It’s a lightweight JavaScript library that emphasizes interaction between JavaScript and HTML which simplifies the creation of animations, communications to server requests, document transversing and event handling. To simplify, it is kick-ass.

Released in January of 2006, jQuery has become the most popular JavaScript library in use today. I plan on using jQuery with a lot of my up and coming projects; it’s so easy to use and even easier to learn.

When I was researching this topic, I wanted to find something new to write about and wanted to share with the class something that I thought would be a great addition and a big help on advancing ourselves into JavaScript. Then I found this little gem. Pro JavaScript Techniques, a book written by the man himself, the creator of jQuery, John Resig. John at a early age already has made a huge impact on the developer community.

So now I’m eagerly awaiting the arrival of my recently ordered book.

To conclude, next time you are working with a new project decide to add some jQuery because it will make your site that much more professional, powerful, and down right awesome.

Would you ever use someone else’s work and claim it to be your own? Hopefully, the answer is no. Now I use other’s work as inspiration but I never blatantly use their work. Only one word comes to mind: Criminal; well delinquent and villain too but you get the point.

In the design community I have noticed that a lot with is based about yourself from your presence online, your personal branding. How would you feel if you were branded as a cheat? Try getting work now. The principle is what you put on online will stay online for as long as the internet is up, which is most likely a very very long time.

Off of honesty, on to integrity.

The one thing I find that was a big inspiration to me was found right on the class website. There is a quote that starts out as, “Integrity is always telling myself the truth.” With is a good point. The number one person you should be honest to is yourself and for some reason Webster gave it a different title—Integrity.

Integrity is always telling myself the truth. And honesty is telling the truth to other people.

To be honest, this blog post is a day late and not very good in my opinion. Please forgive my tardiness, I procrastinated too long in hope of a better idea. And yes, that is a picture of Pinocchio when he didn’t tell the truth. Don’t let that be you. ;)

The countdown depletes Monday morning April 12, 2010, 10:00am Central; which includes an exclusive online preview of its top new features. Which couldn’t come at a better/worse time—right before the tax deadline. I’ve found some interesting videos that have spilled some info:

1. Content Aware (fast-forward to the cool stuff around 2:48)

2. Advanced Brush and Paint Technologies

Yes kids, I only found videos for new Photoshop CS5 features, but the new release ensures to have plenty for the rest of the CS5 family. Be sure to register a spot on the Monday morning preview. Even if you’re not a morning person, it’s 30 minutes, you’ll be back in bed before you know it.
