Anger Management

Anger from frustration or failure can have a negative effect on your performance. For the last few months I have been learning the basics of JavaScript and Ajax and with no surprise my scripts did not work the first time and sometimes the second. Now, I could of taking my textbook throw it across the room and punched my monitor in the jugular, never to return to it again. Well that is a little extreme, but what I’m trying to say is you shouldn’t be baffled when your scripts fail on the first attempt.

The Lonely Island’s newest SNL Digital Short

The newest addition from our brothers at SNL, The Lonely Island with “Boombox.” In which I indulged in last night’s entire episode since I was unfortunately indisposed. Every developer/designer needs a very strong presence online and off; a good place to start, that I believe, is the portfolio. Adding your portfolio displays your skills and style to any visiting potential client. On many portfolios designers included several images, a description of the project, a skill set or services provided , also a link to the site. This helps give the visitor a good visual of the level of expertise and an inside look at some previous work.

Scott Brooks and the Thunder roll to 9 straight wins

Thunder defeat the Minnesota Timberwolves Sunday night to increase their win streak to a league best 9 in a row, but it was almost a gift wrapped victory for the Wolves. Oklahoma City led by 15 points midway through the third period before putting the game on cruise and watching the Wolves peel off a 27-10 run to go ahead 88-86 with 8:16 left. It was Minnesota’s first lead since 2-0, and that’s when the momentum of truth was triggered and the Thunder took control.
